Marketing Manager – Part Time
Job Description
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Marketing Manager supports the strategy and execution of paid and organic marketing campaigns for multiple performing arts genres across various communication channels including but not limited to social media, radio, email, television, and print.
The Marketing Manger will craft paid and organic content to drive Millwald Theatre’s brand, engage audiences, and generate revenue for ticket sales.
This role will require some evenings and weekends on performance dates as well as weekly office hours.
Key Responsibilities
Ø Works closely with the Executive Director to determine marketing plans and priorities to sell subscriptions, single tickets, and market live events.
Ø Provide social media coverage at Millwald Theatre and photograph live events on some evenings and weekends.
Ø Monitors customer service inquiries across all platforms and direct questions or concerns to the appropriate team member.
Ø Creates and manages daily content for social media channels including but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter (X), YouTube, and Threads.
Ø Creates and manages weekly email marketing through Constant Contact.
Ø Designs event graphics to distribute on website, email, and social media channels.
Ø Identifies marketing opportunities through partnerships in the community.
Ø Purchases ads on radio, television, and social media platforms.
Ø Engages influencers and followers through the Millwald’s content to increase audience awareness of live events and to amplify the patron experience.
Ø Other duties as assigned.
Key Qualifications
Ø 2-5 years of proven experience managing marketing campaigns for a business.
Ø Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field preferred.
Ø Extensive knowledge of social media platforms.
Ø Knowledge of Meta Business Suite and Constant Contact preferred.
Ø Experience with purchasing advertising.
Ø Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ø Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
Ø Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro preferred.
Ø Must be willing to work nights and weekends.
